The NICOM EMR application, which stands for NICOM Electronic Medical Records, allows the user to download to a PC, store, print or recall for future reference test information that was previously recorded on the Reliant. This application enables users to save patient records, compare sequential test results, print test reports and so forth. |
In order for the EMR application to retrieve data from a Reliant device, the Reliant and the PC need to be connected via a USB cord. All existing information whithin the Reliant will be transferred to the PC by following a simple on-screen wizard. All data will be saved automatically in the EMR data base and will automatically be added to the list of patient information in the Management screen. |
Hemodynamic parameters displayed include CO, HR, NIBP, SV, TPR, TFC, VET and dX/dt. these parameters are reported in ‘Trend Displays’ or ‘Numerical Displays’. The systematic graphic presentation of the parameter readings in the ‘Trend Display’ facilitates clinician assessments; The ‘Numerical Display’ function presents results of saved or ongoing measurements in an organized tabular formatted report. See images to the right. |
All tests and records can be exported in XML format to be stored in the Hospital's clinical information systems (CIS) or in the patient electronic medical record (EMR).
Furthermore, the NICOM EMR aplication enables the users to generate reports in PDF format or Excel format for further use of the information for filing, research, tracking, etc. |
